I’m forever picking up feathers on the trail, partly because I just like collecting things, but I also like to do a bit of fly-tying when I get the chance. One thing I find quite frustrating, though, is that I find it very difficult to identify bird feathers when I see them.
I really like this infographic. It doesn’t cover everything by any stretch of the imagination. But it’s a good solid list of tail feathers and I’ve enjoyed poring over it. I hope you do to!
